Tomorrow, Saturday February 22 commences the Modernism Vintage Trailer Show in Palm Springs CA. The show is a nice bookend to
Modernism Week in Palm Springs, which has been a whirl of events all week.
Today is the loading in of the trailers located in the parking lot of the
Hilton Hotel on Tahquitz Canyon.
I was asked to have my home on display, so I have MOVED the beloved Silver Suitcase™ to the parking lot for the weekend! Crazy, right???! But how could I resist?
I 'm excited to see people's reactions to my home and to meet the other owners of much loved trailers. We are definitely a unique and if I do say so myself, a really, really fun bunch. How can you be sour if you've got a vintage trailer tricked out? You just can't.

The Vintage Trailer Show is a must do on the list if you are in Palm Springs this weekend. There will be vintage airstream's, and vintage trailers from all decades.
Tomorrow Feb 22, the "doors" swing open at 10:00 - and doors close at 4:00.
On Sunday February 23, "doors" open at 10. and "doors" close at 3.
This year, there are TWICE as many trailers as in 2013!! The people who come down really have one of a kind trailers that will sure to inspire and keep people agog.
